1. Minimal Cookie Use

MinimalRank uses no cookies of any kind: no marketing, no advertising, no third-party tracking. The session is kept with a token in the browser's local storage, and the only visit measurement is the first-party analytics described in section 2.

2. Cookies We Use

This site sets no cookies of its own: the session is kept with a token in the browser's local storage. One exception: the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot widget on the public audit form and on sign-up may set a strictly necessary security cookie when it is shown.

LocalStorage (Technical)

Content: Authentication token, user data and region/language preferences

Purpose: Maintain session across tabs

Duration: The token, until you log out; region and language preferences persist across sessions

Visit analytics

Our own visit analytics (Umami), hosted at wemetrik.com: it counts page views with no cookies, no persistent identifiers and no personal tracking. It is our own infrastructure, not a third party.

Service Worker (application cache)

The application registers a service worker that stores its own files —pages and scripts— in the browser's cache (Cache Storage) to load faster and to open on poor connections. It stores no personal data: these are the service's files, not your information. You can clear it in the browser settings, under “Clear browsing data → Cached application data”.

4. Legal Basis

This site sets no cookies, so there are no cookies to justify: the session token in local storage is covered by contract performance (Art. 6.1.b GDPR), the first-party analytics in section 2 uses no cookies or persistent identifiers, and the security cookie the anti-bot widget may set is strictly necessary to prevent abuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

5. Cookie Management

You can clear the browser storage at any time: deleting the token logs you out, and clearing the application cache simply downloads it again on your next visit. With no cookies, there is nothing cookie-related to unblock: the service does not stop working because you block them.
